Works & Process at Lincoln Center
Works & Process at the Guggenheim and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts present four newly-commissioned video performances created during Works & Process bubble residencies at Kaatsbaan Cultural Park in rural Hudson Valley and filmed on the Lincoln Center campus. Spanning Afrik, ballroom, beatbox, body percussion, club-life, street dance, tap, vogue, and underground house dance and music, these performances amplify underrepresented voices, performing arts cultures, and producers and feature artists-driven projects that help shape a more inclusive, fair, and representative world. Before entering the Works & Process bubble residencies for two weeks, all performers self-isolated and tested negative on two rapid COVID-19 tests. On the last day of their residency, and before exiting the bubble, they performed on Lincoln Center's campus, following COVID-19 safety protocols and with medical counsel.
