Virtuosity and high drama collide in this thrilling program with violinist Alina Ibragimova playing the role of both conductor and soloist. Schnittke’s Moz-Art à la Haydn opens the evening with mischievous brilliance—incorporating unpredictable stage-play among the musicians and featuring Ibragimova and Concertmaster Ruggero Allifranchini. Ibragimova takes center stage for Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3.
