You are invited to a free concert showcasing New York City Public Schools Summer Arts Institute (SAI) student artists onstage in the Wu Tsai Theater at David Geffen Hall, as part of the third year of collaboration between the Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center and SAI. On the second half, musicians of the Festival Orchestra join for performances of new pieces as part of continued collaborations with the New York Philharmonic through their Very Young Composers Program (VYC), and the concert culminates with selections from The Planets by Gustav Holst.
