Presented in collaboration with The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts

Flamenco and Spanish dance artist and educator Carlota Santana joins us for Dance Storytime, a family-friendly creative storytelling workshop where young audiences learn basic movements of flamenco dance. We will learn rhythmic handclaps (palmas), arm movements (braceo), body posturing (marcaje), and footwork (taconeo), all tailored to beginners. By the end, participants will be able to “perform” a simple choreographed dance.
