Over the past two decades, the Under the Radar theater festival has connected New York audiences with the world’s most innovative playwrights and risk-taking work from international performers. Dozens of major creators and rising voices—including Elevator Repair Service, Reggie Watts, Taylor Mac, Whitney White, Lemon Andersen, Roger Guenveur Smith, Migguel Anggelo, Belarus Free Theatre, Tanya Tagaq, and Ryan J. Haddad—have found a champion in the Festival. Under the Radar rises again in January 2024, now with performances across the city, including four productions at Lincoln Center.
