Josie Robertson Plaza serves as the gateway to Lincoln Center at Columbus Avenue and West 64th Street, with David Geffen Hall, the David H. Koch Theater, and the Metropolitan Opera House facing onto the square. The landmark Revson Fountain at the center of the Plaza—a location for many famous movies including Moonstruck, Ghostbusters, and Black Swan—displays spectacular choreographed water shows daily that can shoot water spurts up to 40 feet high. The plaza has been transformed into a participatory art installation, The GREEN, and NYC's largest outdoor dance floor with a 10-foot disco ball, The Oasis. Events on Josie Robertson Plaza have included the Metropolitan Opera’s free Live in HD broadcasts of its acclaimed opera productions, group singalongs for hundreds of New Yorkers, and Lincoln Center’s annual National Dance Day celebration, where dancers of all ages and abilities are invited to gather around the Revson Fountain for fun lessons taught by special guests. Like all of Lincoln Center’s outdoor spaces, the Plaza is equipped with Wi-Fi access.
