Presented in collaboration with The Juilliard School as part of UNGA Healing Arts Week

Join us for an inspiring tale of resilience, rediscovery, and identity with a special screening of My Brain: After the Rupture–the indelible story of broadcaster, writer, musician, and former WQXR Creative Director Clemency Burton-Hill as she emerges from a 17-day coma. Following a catastrophic brain hemorrhage, this film follows Clemmie as she tries to rebuild her life, return to her career, finish her book, and join her son in playing the violin again—all depicted through a series of compelling recordings from her early days of recovery. The film screening will be followed by a panel and audience Q&A.

This event is presented as part of UNGA Healing Arts Week, a New York City-wide celebration of arts and health during the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly, produced by the Jameel Arts & Health Lab in collaboration with the World Health Organization.
