Presented in collaboration with The Juilliard School

As part of Lincoln Center’s 2025–26 Visionary Artist series and in partnership with Juilliard, Pulitzer Prize–winning playwright and co-director of the Lila Acheson Wallace American Playwrights Program David Lindsay-Abaire joins collaborator, Tony-winning composer, and Juilliard Arnhold Creative Associate Jeanine Tesori for an evening honoring the legacy of Christopher Durang. A former mentee and longtime admirer of Durang, Lindsay-Abaire pays tribute to Durang’s profound influence on his own work and the broader world of theater—through conversation, performance, and personal reflection. The program includes selections from Durang’s and Lindsay-Abaire’s plays and concludes with an audience Q&A. Please join us to honor how one artist’s voice can shape another’s creative path.
