Versatility defines the NYC-based singer, violinist and composer Mireya Ines Ramos, better known as Mireya. The classically trained performer's musical influences encompass classic salsa, old-school hip-hop, contemporary merengue, improv jazz and electropop, but her signature flourish is in the unmistakable authenticity of the traditional folkloric delivery that elevates her dulcet vocals. A Latin Grammy award-winning bandleader and founder of the esteemed all-woman mariachi band Flor de Toloache, Mireya has established herself as one of the city’s most exciting and in-demand solo acts and a vanguard performer for the current generation of Mexican-American artists. For this headlining show at the Atrium, Mireya will be performing music from her recently released self-titled debut album.
