Lincoln Center Contemporary Dance Festival

This January, the Lincoln Center Contemporary Dance Festival returns to celebrate New York City-based choreographers presenting boundary-pushing works, including two New York premieres and two commissions by the Pasculano Collaborative for Contemporary Dance.

Legacies of San Juan Hill Festival

This year’s festival celebrates how community creates culture, exploring how the reciprocal influence of the diverse communities of San Juan Hill fostered extraordinary artistic innovation.

From salsa and charanga to Latin jazz, bachata, boogaloo, and more, ¡VAYA! is meant to make you move. Whether you're bopping your head or spinning around on the city's most exciting dance floor… ¡pa'lante!

Under the Radar at Lincoln Center

This January, Under the Radar returns with a signature selection of more than 25 new theatrical productions with performances across the city, including at Lincoln Center.

At the Atrium

All year long, the David Rubenstein Atrium is your home for FREE and groundbreaking music, theater, family shows, dance, comedy, and interactive experiences—highlighting the voices of local and international artists.

Big Umbrella Festival

From April 2–24, 2027, the celebrated festival returns for a multi-week series of performances, workshops, relaxed spaces, and interactive artistic experiences specifically welcoming neurodivergent audiences and their families.

Lincoln Center Immersive

Encompassing excitingly fresh augmented reality experiences, the Lincoln Center Immersive series invites participants to expand their perception of reality and space, offering creative work that serves as an entry point into a hidden realm.

The Art of Wellbeing

Art engages the mind, body, and spirit with guided meditations and movement-based lessons accompanied by live music. Designed and presented in collaboration with NewYork-Presbyterian.

Lincoln Center Moments

A free, welcoming performance series created for individuals with dementia and their caregivers, offering intimate artistic experiences in a supportive setting.

Passport to the Arts

A free and inclusive introduction to the performing arts, this series welcomes children, teens, and adults with disabilities and their families to experience concerts, workshops, and events across Lincoln Center.

Livestreams

Watch select Lincoln Center performances from anywhere with free livestreams all season long—complete with closed captions and on-demand access.

Young Artist Pipeline

A free training program for sixth and seventh graders, Young Artist Pipeline nurtures emerging talent through foundational arts education, creative exploration, and pathways to NYC’s screened arts high schools.

Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center

The Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center comes together each summer during Lincoln Center's Summer for the City to celebrate and share iconic works of classical music in dialogue with new and rediscovered music.

Play your part by selecting the ticket value that’s right for you, knowing your contribution helps expand access for all. Please refer to the dedicated event page of the show you’d like to attend to confirm ticketing options.

Free General Admission Events

Many performances and events, including all programming at the David Rubenstein Atrium, are available for FREE via General Admission—first-come, first-served. Advance reservations are not required for these events; just show up! While we'll do our best to accommodate as many guests as possible, we cannot guarantee admission. Look for the “FREE” label on calendar listings and show pages, or select the “Free” calendar filter to search for a wide range of free programming.

Free Fast Track Option

All Lincoln Center Presents events at the David Rubenstein Atrium offer a Fast Track reservation option, giving priority entry into events. Reservations for Fast Track will open every Monday at noon for that week's events and can be reserved on this page. Please check the event's dedicated web page to confirm if Fast Track is available for the performance you'd like to attend.

There are three ways to purchase Choose-What-You-Pay and full-price tickets.

2. Call CenterCharge at 212-721-6500 from Monday–Friday 10:00 am–6:00 pm (EST).
3. Book in-person at the Alice Tully Hall box office (Broadway and 66th Street) or the David Geffen Hall box office from Monday–Saturday 10:00 am–6:00 pm and Sunday noon–6:00 pm.

This special VAYA celebration is part of our annual Open House event.

!VAYA! combines live music, dance, and storytelling to trace 100 years of Latin music and culture in New York City: from the emergence of El Barrio and the musical communities of San Juan Hill, through the legendary Palladium Ballroom years, to the rise of Salsa and beyond. Featuring the Steve Oquendo Latin Jazz Big Band and the Mambo Royalty dance company throughout the night, this VAYA celebration captures stories of immigration, memory, and cultural preservation.

About the Artists

Eddie Torres Jr. & Mambo Royalty

Mambo Royalty is a New York City–based dance company and academy led by Eddie Torres Jr. and Princess Serrano, internationally recognized dancers, choreographers, educators, and performers carrying forward the legacy of New York Mambo. Eddie, son of legendary “Mambo King” Eddie Torres Sr., and Princess have brought their artistry from the dance floor to major stages and screens. Their film credits include In the Heights, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Being the Ricardos, an upcoming film starring Denzel Washington, and performances on Dancing with the Stars, Madison Square Garden, Prudential Center, Barclays Center, among many others.

Together, Eddie and Princess lead Mambo Royalty as both a home for the next generation of dancers and a platform for preserving and evolving New York’s rich Mambo tradition. Through performance, education, choreography, and community, they honor the pioneers who built the culture while ensuring its legacy continues to thrive on stages, screens, and dance floors around the world.

Steve Oquendo Latin Jazz Orchestra

Created in 2009 and led by distinguished trumpeter and music educator Steven Oquendo, SOLJO has proven itself a force to be reckoned with. The big band is made up of 19 superbly talented guardians of Latin music. SOLJO’s repertoire is comprised of Afro-Cuban palladium era salsa mambo and salsa classics that pay homage to the genre’s originators, while simultaneously injecting a fresh interpretation that has intrigued and captured new fans of all ages and backgrounds. SOLJO’s sophisticated use of free improvisation, dissonant harmonies, fusion rhythms, and creative arrangements has helped to dispel stereotypes surrounding Latin music and Latin Jazz, and ensured that the essence of the music continues to thrive.

SOLJO’s members hail from all five boroughs of New York City and beyond, and have individually performed with a wide array of international artists, including Ray Santos, Tito Puente, Dizzy Gillespie, Celia Cruz, Ruben Blades, Cheo Feliciano, Machito, Tito Rodriguez, Wynton Marsalis, Hector Lavoe, Benny Golson, Eddie Palmieri, Jon Faddis, Marc Anthony, Dave Valentín, Arturo Sandoval, Destiny’s Child, Candido Camero, Bobby Sanabria, Juan Luis Guerra, Giovanni Hidalgo, Ray Barretto, and a host of others.
