Be inspired by musicians who defy expectations

American Songbook: Singer Outsiders, curated in collaboration with Tamar-kali and Kathleen Hanna, uplifts women and nonbinary musicians who have shaped the modern landscape of music and continue to drive conversations on gender, identity, and empowerment. This spring series features a bold lineup of powerhouse voices from across the punk, pop, jazz, classical, R&B, and theater worlds—including Tarta Relena, Los Sara Fontan, and CocanhaGossip; Ana Tijoux; Mixtape: Women in Punk, and more—all for free or Choose-What-You-Pay.

Experience the joy of the arts at any age

This spring, explore free and Choose-What-You-Pay events curated and designed for Kids, Teens, and Families. Young adults and teens can build a boat at a hands-on workshop led by groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning designer Clint Ramos. In April, children ages 3–5 are invited to engage in an interactive and colorful dance performance installation, The Sticky Dance. A contemporary circus company celebrates human interconnectedness in the New York premiere of Backbone, a thrilling event for all ages!
