Praised for its “multisensory celebration” (Creativo), Art Bath brings its signature spirit of artistic exploration to the Atrium for one night only as part of Festival of Firsts. Known for fusing disciplines, Art Bath founders Mara Driscoll and Liz Yilmaz curate unexpected pairings of dance, opera, music, theater, and visual art. Expect a unique blend of immersive moments, cocktails, stunning ambiance, and world-class performances including sets by DJ FLWRSHRK; film by Natalie Karpushenko; musical works sung by GRAMMY-winning mezzo soprano J'Nai Bridges; musicians from Dharma Swara Gamelan Ensemble with violist Zoë Martin-Doike from The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and a traditional Balinese dancer from Dharma Swara; a collaboration between keyboardist BIGYUKI and New York City Ballet soloist Megan LeCrone with choreography by Metropolitan Opera ballet dancer Nick Korkos; visual media by Nate Mohler; and whimsical sculpture from artist duo MOOKNTAKA.
