After the critically acclaimed and applauded success of last year, the Teatro Real (The Royal Opera of Madrid) returns to New York with its Orchestra to perform a vibrant symphonic and vocal programme at Lincoln Center in the Wu Tsai Theater of David Geffen Hall.

A unique concert to enjoy the essence of Spain with Falla’s El amor brujo with wonderful Flamenco singer Esperanza Fernández from Seville, followed by Dvořák’s Cello Concerto performed by Spanish virtuoso Pablo Ferrández, prizewinner at the International Tchaikovsky Competition. The programme concludes with Suite Panambi by Ginastera and Daphnis et Chloé by Ravel, two composers influenced by the genius of Manuel de Falla.

An evening to remember with maestro Juanjo Mena conducting the Orchestra of the Royal Opera of Madrid.

Alberto Ginastera - Panambi: Suite Op. 1a
Antonín Leopold Dvořák - Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104
Manuel de Falla - El amor brujo (Love, the Magician) 1915 version
Maurice Ravel - Daphnis et Chloé, Suites Nº1 and Nº2M
