Élise Sharp (cello), Kendall Isadore (violin), and Dawn Johnson (viola) are The String Queens, a dynamically versatile trio of women whose skills as educators, orchestrators and performers of beguiling renditions of pop, jazz, and gospel have earned them performances on the world's greatest stages, including the 2021 virtual inauguration concert for Vice President Kamala Harris. The String Queens latest album, 2022's RISE, showcases the group's accessible and vibrant sound with fresh takes on the music of contemporary soul legends. At this all-ages winter holiday concert, the trio presents music from RISE alongside festive family favorites from their EP, Our Favorite Things.

Join us in the David Rubenstein Atrium before the performance for a hands-on creative Family Workshop at 10:15am. The workshop—inspired by The String Queens: A Holiday Celebration and led by Lincoln Center Teaching Artists—is open to participants of all ages and ability levels who are ready and curious to explore music.

Workshop Date and Time:
