On November 1, 2024, join the New York Choral Society for Voices of Light / The Passion of Joan of Arc, a stunning fusion of live music and cinema. Richard Einhorn's dramatic score accompanies the silent film The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928), featuring Renée Falconetti’s iconic portrayal of Joan. Originally censored by the Catholic Church, this visually striking film has been newly restored and will be projected on a grand scale at Alice Tully Hall. Led by Music Director, David Hayes, and presented with the Mannes Orchestra and The Polyphonists, this event showcases the New York Choral Society’s bold artistic mission. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening for film and music lovers alike.
