Violinist Augustin Hadelich’s unparalleled virtuosity is on display in a rendition of the Violin Concerto in A Major by Bologne, the 18th century polymath and African-French composer, with the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra. Bookending the concerto are two delightful works by Ravel—his enthralling Ma mère l'Oye (Mother Goose) suite and the rhapsodic Tzigane, also played by Hadelich. Mozart’s “Paris” Symphony rounds out the captivating program, conducted by Louis Langrée.
