Violist, conductor, and Peabody Award-winning producer Nadia Sirota curates and hosts the category-defying Living Music Underground series on Thursday nights. Stop by The Underground, a one-of-a-kind setting for spotlighting virtuosic soloists and avant-garde ensembles whose instrumental performances push the boundaries of classical, jazz, experimental, ambient, electronic, and pop.
Brooklyn Rider's gripping performance style and unquenchable appetite for musical adventure have firmly established them as a singular force in the world of string quartets. Lincoln Center celebrates their 20th anniversary with six shows, featuring acclaimed collaborations and new commissions which reflect the breadth of the ensemble's ambitious reach and eclectic interests.

How to Get Tickets to Summer for the City
There are three ways to get tickets to Summer for the City at Lincoln Center, depending on the venue and the programming. Please refer to the dedicated event page of the show you’d like to attend to confirm ticketing options.
Free General Admission
For free events, over half the venue capacity is aways available for General Admission. Just show up; no tickets needed! Entry to most Summer for the City performances and events is available for FREE via General Admission—first-come, first-served. Learn more »
Free Fast Track
In addition to General Admission, we’re offering a FREE Fast Track option for the majority of Summer for the City events held at Damrosch Park, The Dance Floor, The Underground at Jaffe Drive, the David Rubenstein Atrium, and other select venues. Fast Track reservations are available every Monday at noon for that week's events!
• By booking Fast Track for events ahead of time, guests can access the Fast Track line at the venue which gives them priority entry to that event.
• While event admission is not guaranteed, Fast Track ticket holders will have priority over the General Admission line up until 10 minutes before show time (please note: show time for social dances on The Dance Floor is the start of the dance lesson). We recommend arriving an hour before show time to ensure entry into the event.
• Please check the event's dedicated web page to confirm if Fast Track is available for the performance you'd like to attend.

Choose-What-You-Pay
All tickets to most mainstage indoor events are available on a Choose-What-You-Pay basis; day-of general admission will not be offered for these shows. All Choose-What-You-Pay events have a suggested ticket price of $35 and the option to pay more or less. There is a $5 per ticket minimum. Find Choose-What-You-Pay shows here »

Chinese jazz artist and trumpeter, Li Xiaochuan, and his exceptional jazz band will take you on a musical journey blending East and West, performing original pieces that intertwine trumpet, vibraphone, piano, saxophone, guitar, vocal, bass, and drums to explore the infinite possibilities of Chinese music from Shanghai. Chinese and international musicians engage in live improvisational interactions and musical collisions.
After the concert, The Dance Floor sets the stage for a high-energy break dance battle, as street dancers deliver an escalating series of thrilling acts. China’s most talented young dancers, the Shanghai Youth Hip-hop Team, makes their debut in New York, bringing their original "Kung Fu Hip-Hop" Chinese-style street dance aesthetic to Lincoln Center. After the performance, stay for the impromptu cypher with New York street dancers, using body language in a street culture dialogue between Shanghai and New York!
