Third Floor Screening Room
The Third Floor Screening Room is the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts’s micro-cinema, where small audiences may enjoy presentations of independent filmmakers, media artists, and scholars showcasing archival moving image from the Library’s collection.
Pick-up/Drop-off: 111 Amsterdam Avenue, between West 64th and West 65th Streets
Accessible Entry: 111 Amsterdam Avenue, between West 64th and West 65th Streets, or on the plaza level, between Metropolitan Opera House and Lincoln Center Theater.
Accessible Seating: There are several locations for persons who use wheelchairs in the Café at LPA.
Restrooms: Accessible men’s and women’s restrooms in L level and on third floor. Accessible women’s restrooms only on the second floor.
Water Fountains: Accessible in L level and on the third floor.
Assistive Listening Devices: FM assistive listening headsets are available at the Bruno Walter Auditorium for use at live events only.
Assistive Technology for Public Computers: All reading room and public-access computers have JAWS, MAGIC, and adjustable font size and contrast. Guests may bring their own laptops and electronic devices; free WiFi available. Headphones in reading rooms, exhibitions, and listening stations have adjustable volume.
