Sink into a different kind of sound bath after work with guided meditation and live chamber music that will send you out into the evening refreshed and recentered. The hourlong program begins with a short mindfulness practice led by former New York Times contributing music critic Corinna da Fonseca-Wollheim, founder of Beginner's Ear. Out of the collective stillness the mesmerizing sounds of classical flute and harp unfold, leading participants to a place of deep calm. Two rising stars, Grammy-nominated flutist Brandon Patrick George and acclaimed harpist Parker Ramsay will weave a unique sonic journey out of selections by Claude Debussy, Toru Takemitsu, Johann Sebastian Bach and others. A short Q&A on mindful listening with musicians and listeners wraps up the event.

Not all exercises are suitable for everyone. Any injury sustained from proper or improper participation in The Art of Wellbeing programming is solely the responsibility of the exerciser. Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. and any co-presenters and performers disclaim any liability from injury sustained from the participation in this exercise, and suggest that you consult your professional healthcare provider before attempting any exercise or exercise program.
