New York Public Library for the Performing Arts,Café at LPA
The Café at LPA is part of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. Visitors to this intimate venue will discover an annual schedule of free, interactive programs that include workshops and masterclasses, musical theater sing-alongs, arts trivia nights, and cabaret performances. The Café at LPA can be found by going through the library’s main entrance on Lincoln Center Plaza next to the Metropolitan Opera House when the Library is open; otherwise at 111 Amsterdam Avenue between 64th and 65th Streets.
Pick-up/Drop-off: 111 Amsterdam Avenue, between West 64th and West 65th Streets
Accessible Entry: 111 Amsterdam Avenue, between West 64th and West 65th Streets, or on the plaza level, between Metropolitan Opera House and Lincoln Center Theater.
Accessible Seating: There are several locations for persons who use wheelchairs in the Café at LPA.
Restrooms: Accessible men’s and women’s restrooms in L level and on third floor. Accessible women’s restrooms only on the second floor.
Water Fountains: Accessible in L level and on the third floor.
Assistive Listening Devices: FM assistive listening headsets are available at the Bruno Walter Auditorium for use at live events only.
Assistive Technology for Public Computers: All reading room and public-access computers have JAWS, MAGIC, and adjustable font size and contrast. Guests may bring their own laptops and electronic devices; free WiFi available. Headphones in reading rooms, exhibitions, and listening stations have adjustable volume.
