10:30 am Festival Welcome and Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could
Up and Away’s Phin and Fran Fogg host the Big Umbrella Festival kickoff celebration. An impressive lineup of esteemed speakers and the raising of the umbrella mark the official start of the festival!
Then, Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Brady Rymer brings his rootsy, accordion-laced pop and rock tunes to a whimsical Americana mashup for a relaxed Saturday morning show.
2:00 pm Actionplay Chorus
Made up of a group of young performers on the autism spectrum, and led by music therapist Gabriel Lit, the Actionplay Chorus performs their own original music in professional settings. In recent years, the Actionplay Chorus has performed with Weird Al Yankovic on Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars, with the Greenwich Village Orchestra, at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.

Located on the west side of Broadway, between 62nd and 63rd streets.
The Atrium is easily accessible via the A, B, C, and D train services at 59th Street–Columbus Circle or the 1 service at 66th Street–Lincoln Center. The M5, M7, M10, M11, M66 and M104 bus lines also stop within one block of Lincoln Center.
Up and Away, Light Show, Oddysea, and Brady Rymer will be presenting weekday school performances from April 10 to May 4 at Lincoln Center and in the boroughs. Light Show and Oddysea will also be presented in Queens for school groups across the city in partnership with the Queens Theatre.
