Emerging from the excitement and turbulence of 1960s New York City, the New Swing Sextet has been a popular and innovative exponent of Latin jazz, salsa, and pop music for over five decades. After professionally debuting at the last New York World’s Fair, the band went on to have a long history of making music on the streets of New York. These true old-school pioneers of music and Grammy nominees are now celebrating a landmark anniversary with the release of their new album, Lo Que Te Traigo.
