Insights at the Atrium

Join us on a journey through centuries and across continents as we go behind the scenes of The Red Violin. Hear from John Corigliano, the composer of the Academy Award–winning score; violinist Joshua Bell, the soundtrack’s original soloist; producer Niv Fichman, who discusses the ambitious international scope of the film, with all of its challenges and rewards; and Peter Gelb, who served as president of Sony Classical when it released the soundtrack. New York Philharmonic President and CEO Deborah Borda moderates.
