The year-long celebration of the Mannes Centennial begins with Mannes alumna and renowned conductor JoAnn Falletta leading the Mannes Orchestra in a concert of works featuring current and former Mannes faculty members and alums.    


The program will include

(Mannes Faculty) Paul Moravec’s Cello Concerto with soloist Jeffrey Zeigler (Mannes Faculty);

Bohuslav Martinů’s(Mannes faculty member from 1948-1956) Frescos of Piero della Francesca;

and Carl Nielsen’s Symphony No. 4.
