Jaap van Zweden conducts Knoxville: Summer of 1915, a nostalgic recollection of a time of innocence in small-town America, rapturously sung by Tony Award–winning Broadway sensation Kelli O’Hara, and a World Premiere by Philip Glass, one of America’s great living composers. Romeo and Juliet — an ardent, tender, and ultimately heartbreaking score — captures the tragedy of the young lovers.
