Tonight’s showcase of samba jazz features an outstanding small group of musicians, several of whom worked closely with the iconic Antonio Carlos Jobim. The group, featuring Duduka da Fonseca (of Trio da Paz), Helio Alves, and vocalist Maucha Adnet – each a native of Brazil – shares an expertise in this music, and each member is internationally recognized for expanding the worlds of jazz and Latin music.
