In anticipation of Jeanine Tesori and Tazewell Thompson’s new opera Blue, the New York Festival of Song performs the music of the Tony Award–winning composer, whose 25-year Broadway career has included the hit shows Thoroughly Modern Millie, Shrek, Fun Home, and Caroline, or Change. Pianist and host Steven Blier accompanies mezzo-soprano Lucia Bradford and tenor Miles Mykkanen in an enchanting evening of Tesori’s most celebrated works.
