Conductor Susanna Mälkki joins composer Unsuk Chin and sheng player Wu Wei — who will also showcase his instrument with live demonstrations — to discuss Ms. Chin’s Šu, which the New York Philharmonic performs later that week. Philharmonic President and CEO Deborah Borda moderates the conversation.
