The Dream Machine Experience

before the before and after the after

A Production by Dream Machine Experience Inc. & SOZO

From the mind of the incomparable Nona Hendryx, comes a brand-new experience that pushes the boundaries of art and technology. A Lincoln Center commission and part of Summer for the City, The Dream Machine Experience offers three distinct segments in multiple spaces across campus, combining the physical and digital worlds through Afrofuturist art, music, and storytelling. Engage in conversation with Bina48, a humanoid robot powered by AI, in her Afro Future Garden at the Atrium; follow The Bridge on an AR journey led by Hendryx’s virtual avatar Cyboracle; and visit The Dream Machine for a full-scale VR experience. Discover the past, engage with the present, and imagine the future!
